Interim Director of Childrens and
Youth Ministries
The Congregational Church of Topsfield, MA seeks an Interim Director for
its Child, Youth and Family Ministries. Responsibilities include: leadership
of recruitment and coordination of adult volunteer teachers, outreach
to families with children who are new to CCT , and development and direction
of children’s and youth ministries. The Interim Director reports
to the Senior Pastor and supervises the Christian Education Assistant.
Candidates should have a mature commitment to the Christian faith, and
3 – 5 years experience in children’s ministries in either a
professional or volunteer position. Knowledge of current methods of curriculum
development and teaching and of the developmental levels of children and
youth are a plus. Basic computer literacy is required. This is a part-time,
salaried position, requiring 10 – 12 hours per week during the church
school year, and less during the summer.

Notes:
• This is a part-time Exempt position.
• No benefits other than CCT PTO benefits.
• Salary range is $10,000 - $12,000 plus .0765% of salary for SS
contribution.
