Dear Kids InC. Family,

The fall is just around the corner and with it the start of a Kids InC Year! On the reverse of this
letter, please find the Master Schedule of Events. This is to help you with advanced planning.
We will be publishing the details of each event within a month of the event.
So why do we do what we do? Grades 4-6 are a perfect stage to begin connecting the children
to the faith community as we prepare them for the future youth group and discipleship
programs. Our mission and slogan for Kids InC. is: Faith, Friends and Fun!
Faith: We have a short lesson and devotional before we begin our events. We want to
encourage kids to start thinking and discussing issues of faith and how that relates to
their everyday lives.

Friends: There is nothing kids like to do better than hang out with friends. We
encourage kids to connect and build relationships with each other, so they can be
partners together in the life of faith. We encourage kids to bring their friends that are
not necessarily connected to the church.

FUN: Kids InC. loves to have fun! We have a full schedule of events both here at the
Emerson Center and at locations in our area. If you want to feel young, sign up to
chaperone, being with the kids is the best way to recapture your youth!

We hope you will all take an active role in this year’s youth group. We look to you to
participate, to pray, to chaperone, and to spread the excitement! Our theme for this year’s Kids
InC. will be “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John
1:4. Please join us!

If you haven’t done so, please fill out a registration form. It is required for participation in all Youth activities.
