The Congregational Church of Topsfield

Fellowship & Care

Fellowship and caring for each other, our community, and the world is at the heart of our mission as a church. By reaching out to our neighbors and those in need around the world we put Christian compassion into action.

Our members support one another in difficult times, arranging meal deliveries, car rides, and just somebody to talk to. On a lighter note, we also enjoy fellowship opportunities like bowling and pizza night, brunches, and special events like a chili cook-off. This fellowship creates a sense of belonging to a family that cares for one another.

Being part of the community is important to us! We offer our facilities to a variety of local organizations including the VNA, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, AA, the Garden Club and others. Each year we share the joy of the season with our annual community- wide Christmas Concert.

Throughout the years we have been involved in reaching out to those Jesus described as being "the least of these my brothers and sisters." Our youth mission trips have sent hundreds of high schoolers to serve in places like Washignton D.C. and Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. CCoT provides financial support to many local and global organizations, including Tri-Town Council, Refugee Immigration Ministry, Beverly Bootstraps, Haven from Hunger, Lifebridge, Habitat for humanity, Emmaus House, World Vision, and Foundation for Children of Haiti. In the local community, our mission activities range from collecting school supplies for needy children to hosting a St. Patrick's Dinner for over 100 Topsfield seniors.
