About Us

The Congregational Church of Topsfield is a warm, caring community of individuals, couples and families.  We worship together, support one another, and share our time and talents to make the world a place which better resembles the realm of God.

We are an Open and Affirming community.  We welcome all persons into the full life and ministry of this congregation.

Important update to Sunday Services:

After thoughtful consideration and gathering the latest local and CDC information, most of the deacons and staff have concluded we need to immediately suspend in person Sunday services for January. This decision was not made in haste, but rather after reviewing the statistics of how fast the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is spreading through our community, state, and nation. We will continue to stream services live from our Meetinghouse through Zoom and Community TV.

At the end of January we will take a look to see what the future might bring. Medical Research continues to report those that are vaccinated and boostered will usually experience mild symptoms if they get COVID rather than a prolonged and damaging experience for those that are not vaccinated. So...........GET THE VAX AND THE BOOSTER!! Reports are coming out of South Africa that this wave will not last long, but as usual with this pandemic, we will have to see if this is true for us in the US and Topsfield.

Thanks for your understanding and patience as we work our way through another surge of this awful and costly illness. On the behalf of the Deacons let us keep practicing good hand hygiene, masking, and social distancing.  REMEMBER THIS WILL BE ON ZOOM AND COMMUNITY TV STARTING AT 9:30 AM THIS SUNDAY MORNING JANUARY 2, 2022.

Service Sundays

Several church members assembled "New Mother Bundles" for a program that provides services to young mothers (up to the age of 23) in Lynn and Lowell. Organized by BOMO (Board of Mission and Outreach), we supplied self-care and small gift items for many young moms.
