Peace and Justice

Super Spreader

Amanda Gorman, the young inaugural poet laureate who spoke at President Biden's swearing in stated: "There is always light, if only we're brave enough to see it. If only we are brave enough to be it." Recently, the Congregational Church of Topsfield's Social Justice Committee put out a call on social media to join in a community inter-generational activity to “be the light - to spread the light”! People were asked to create a short video sharing what they personally will do to create a greater sense of peace and justice in our community.  Here is the link to the final video.

We hope as you watch this short clip, you too may be inspired to think how you can intentionally spread the light in our community

Many thanks to everyone who participated!

Service Sundays

In early March, several church members assembled "New Mother Bundles" for a program that provides services to young mothers (up to the age of 23) in Lynn and Lowell. Organized by BOMO (Board of Mission and Outreach), we supplied self-care and small gift items for many young moms.
